Moon-Pluto: Dominatrix Wife

Moon-Pluto people are kinky and pervy, first and foremost. They have an insatiable hunger within them that cannot be satisfied. Men and women with Moon-Pluto (similar to Scorpio Moon) in their chart has an obsessive need for sex. All they crave is sex, sex and sex. Once you get them to bed, there's this ferocious beast waiting to rip you apart. They are also very seductive. I believe "magnetic" and "alluring" are the words to describe them.

Moon-Pluto kids experience their mom as an overwhelmingly powerful figure in their life. Mother was not just powerful and in control, she looms above the child in a bigger-than-life way. She totally dominated their lives as kids. Childhood trauma is very common with Scorpio Moon. Something must have happened. Mother may not be involved. But they blamed mom, nevertheless.

Like their watery cousin Pieces, the Scorpio Moon people have problems with boundaries. They totally enjoy invading the boundaries of other people, running them down and loves this sense of power and dominance over others. As a child, they might have felt helpless at some point. It's revenge time, baby. Unlike Pieces Moon who is a wimp, Scorpio Moon don't cry. They don't get mad. They get even.

Which brings me to my next point. Scorpio Moon loves power. They associate sex with power. Gaining power through sex may not be as negative as it sounds. Through sex, they are transformed. Like the Phoenix rising up from the ashes, Scorpio Moon folks are capable of extreme transformation - flying straight to heaven or going straight to hell. Boys with Scorpio Moon are attracted to their own moms, being Freudian to the extreme. They need to experience this feeling of being dominated by their wives, of being at the mercy of a woman.

Moon-Neptune: Jesus Complex

Moon aspecting Neptune (conjunction, square or opposition) will produce a soft-hearted individual. This person has a need to be Jesus in their relationships. They are forever rescuing or saving other people from problems. They wanna feel noble and self-sacrificing. They wanna feel like matyrs so they always go for loser-type of partners - drunks, addicts, abuse victims, the poor or the unfortunate. The more victimized that man or woman is, the more attractive they are in the eyes of this Jesus wannabe.

At its best, Moon-Neptune gives you beautiful dreams. It blesses you with artistic gifts, musical or literary talent and superb imagination. Like Moon in Pisces, this watery moon is very kind and giving in a relationship. They associate love with suffering, so they feel they need to suffer in order to love someone. At its worst, they are most likely to be conned and taken for a ride. It makes them indiscriminate when choosing partner and negative characters are drawn to this Jesus wannabe. When a Pisces Moon feels hurt, they always cry. They shed buckets of tears.

Astrologer Liz Greene talked about how watery moon people actually having mothers who invaded their boundaries when they were young. This is the root cause: boundaries. Pisces Moon folks fail to set clear boundaries in their relationships, and let others ill-treat them when they do not deserve it. They just cannot say "No" to others. In a man, he is attracted to domineering, forceful type of women. He will have a strong wife - stronger than him. People with Moon-Neptune (or Pisces Moon) struggle with self-esteem issues and feelings of self-worth.

If Pisces or Neptune is too strong in your chart, you might be dealing with issues of abandonment. You probably felt neglected during childhood. You may turn to drinks, drugs, charity or some form of escapism. You wanna escape from this cruel world by all means. Take a lesson from Capricorn Moon folks and learn to draw the boundaries - control your emotions - say "No"to others.

Moon-Saturn: CEO Wife

Moon in harsh aspects to Saturn will give you that CEO wife you have been looking for to manage your life. This earthy Moon wants control and authority, first and foremost. In a man's chart, he desires a woman who is competent, efficient, and can "get the job done." The wife needs to have outstanding leadership skills to help run his life. She must be able to help him to achieve his ambitions. The Moon-Saturn man admires a professional woman who can benefit his career. She needs to be successful enough to boost his status in society.

The Capricorn Moon individual is goal-oriented. They have a need to rise in society and command respect from others. This is a famous "using" sign, as they are able to utilize people and resources around them to achieve their ambitions. They are careful and can control their emotions very well. They see emotions as weakness, and do not like over-sensitive or "soft" partners. Great leaders like Napoleon Bonaparte and George Washington have Capricorn Moons. This allowed them to command an army.

Astrologer Vivian Robson claimed that "many prominent politicians and businessmen owe their position and success...to their Capricorn wives." I find this to be accurate descriptions of Moon-Saturn people in general. This applies to both sexes, although it is more obvious in men, They seek out relationships for mutual benefits. Sometimes, they delay marriage and end up marrying late because they are careful. They tend to marry older partners who are materially well-off. All in all, the Capricorn Moon is a secret recipe for success.

Moon-Uranus: The Distant Lover

Moon in harsh aspects to Uranus in a natal chart gives you a distant lover. He or she is the unavailable lover - often being away or physically absent. The tendency is to have a long-distance relationship where they do not see you often. They want their own "space" and needs lots of freedom to move around and do their own thing. It is said that most pilots and corporate businessmen  have this aspect in their charts, since they are usually away from home for extended periods. Instead of breaking up the relationship, distance actually strengthens the couple since the Moon-Uranus person will be glad to have their own space yet satisfied with the occasional intimate moments with his wife.

Sometimes accused of being selfish, the Moon-Uranus person is fiercely independent. He is actually afraid of commitments, so avoid being "attached" because it is viewed as neediness. He views neediness as being weak. While he or she pretends not to give a damn, deep down inside, this person is scared of being alone. To prevent loneliness, he or she may sleep around or turn promiscuous. They pretend to be cold and objective about relationships ("I don't need him"), but there is a deep inner fear and insecurity about not having anybody to love.

He is forced to be independent since childhood, needing no mother to survive. Mother was always absent, and unavailable to reassure the child in times of needs. Thus the child grows up not needing a mother. Very self-reliant and proud of that. So falling in love may be threatening.

Astrologer Bob Marks remarked that the Moon-Uranus person will run away from commitments. Once he or she realizes that they need their partners to survive, this individual will escape. In a man, he will be attracted to unavailable women - a woman who is out of town, another man's girlfriend, an Internet buddy or long-distance crush. The Moon-Uranus woman is much more needy. She hides her insecurity by sleeping around (to show she does not need a bf) or creating issues to break up once she goes steady with a guy. Generally, Moon-Uranus folks have unstable but exciting relationships that do not last long.

Moon-Mars: Sexually-frustrated Man

Moon square Mars in a man's chart often indicates sexual frustration of some kind. Ancient astrology texts describe these men as "irritable" and "angry." But why irritable? To understand the male psychology, we need to know that moody men are the product of either hunger or sexual starvation. In this case, his sexual needs (Mars) is not being satisfied by his wife (Moon). That's right, he ain't getting any. Or he ain't getting enough. Maybe he's not getting the type he wants either, which is rough (Mars). The wife is sexually-incompatible with him. As a result, the man gets into frequent fights and arguments with his spouse. He blames her for rejecting or suppressing his manliness, and may even feel like a failure of a man. His big appetite may only be satisfied outside marriage, hence this is a common placement for playboys and unfaithful Casanovas.

Stephen Arroyo claims that Moon square Mars men feel that they cannot assert their masculinity (Mars) towards their wives (Moon), and that the wife has sabotaged their male ego. This is always a dangerous position for men, as there is a potential of revenge towards the wife, either in the form of violence, quarrels or fights. The risk of extramarital affairs is also increased.

The root of this problem comes from childhood, specifically, from the mother (Moon). He may have perceived his mother as having rejected or ignored his neediness as a child. She could be the aggressive type of mom, the action-oriented mom who did not nurture him emotionally. He may get into frequent fights with her. Some male clients with this placement even claim that their mom was violent. The seeds of anger towards women have been sown in boyhood, which blossoms into marital discord in adulthood.

The Moon and Motherly Love.

The Moon is the most important planet in classical astrology. If you know absolutely nothing about astrology, it helps that you only know about the Moon and its position in your natal chart. The Moon is so powerful, in fact, that it influences who and what you perceive yourself to be. It shows your raw, primal, most animal-like self from birth. Childhood is the period when you are most like your Moon sign. As a kid, you can't control your impulses yet, and is innocent and pure in your behaviour. That state of innocence as a child is your true self - shown by your Moon. As the ruler of childhood, the Moon rules your feelings, your heart, and your soul - things you cannot control. It lurks under your psyche, telling you when you're hungry, horny, excited, angry, sad, etc. Strip away all the masks of culture and pretense and all you find beneath is your naked self - your Moon. We tend to behave like our Moon sign unconsciously. It is our inner child, our home. When nobody is around, we become our Moon signs.

Besides childhood, the Moon shows your relationship with your mother. A Moon in fire sign (Aries, Leo & Sagittarius) reveals a strong, active mother who is always in action, while a Moon in water sign (Cancer, Scorpio & Pieces) indicates a mother who is emotional, sensitive and somewhat temperamental. Moon in air signs (Gemini, Libra & Aquarius) shows an intellectual mother while Moon in earth signs (Taurus, Virgo & Capricorn) tells of a practical, no-nonsense type of mom who takes her duty seriously. Furthermore, we need to look at the condition of the Moon in your chart to determine the specific impact your mom has made in your life. A harsh or negatively aspected Moon shows that your relationship with your mom is conflicted, troubled, or problematic. A positively aspected Moon reveals a smooth and harmonious relationship with mom.

For men, the Moon also predicts the type of woman he is going to marry. From my experience as an astrologer, it is an accurate predictor of the type of wife a man is looking for, as well as the relationship he needs to have with his wife. This is rooted in psychology whereby a wife is a mother substitute in the hearts of most men.

It is essential for you to know what type of Moon you have, it's position & condition in your natal chart to gain self-awareness of your relationship patterns. If you have been having a string of destructive or failed relationships, perhaps it is time to look at your Moon.

Fire, Earth, Air & Water.

Astrology is based on the 4 elements - fire, earth, air, & water. The qualities of each element greatly influence the individual's character. It is a strong predictor and determining factor in his natal chart. Depending on which element that is dominant in the chart, the person will display the strengths and weaknesses of that particular element. Novice astrologers often underestimate the importance of the elements, and that is the reason why readings are not deep or insightful enough. Veteran astrologers, meanwhile, tend to place a heavy emphasis on elemental qualities, which enable them to pick up subtle hints and meanings about a person.

FIRE

FIRE TRIAD - Aries, Leo, Sagittarius.

FIRE PLANETS - Sun, Mars, Jupiter.

FIRE HOUSES - House I, V & IX

Fire symbolizes force, energy and will power. It burns and crackles and sizzles. When fire is strong in a natal chart, that person will have high vitality and self-confidence in life. He will be physically robust, confident, and extroverted. That is why Aries, Leo & Sagi are energetic signs. They can't sit still. They represent masculinity, the "Yang" energy which is forceful and assertive. When fire gets channeled in the right direction, it conveys the gift of great optimism and leadership in life. A person can always bounce back in times of down and has an inner light of joy and hope which cannot be extinguished. Sir Winston Churchill famously had a fire trine in his natal chart. It allows him to inspire a nation with hope during a time of great gloom and depression. Fire lights up the dark, and he lifted Britain out of darkness. A fiery leader can be very brave and inspirational in the face of challenge, despite all odds. There is a need for competition, and a need to push themselves. Fiery people are very competitive and thirsty for challenges. They are also frank, straightforward and rather blunt in their expression. They see what they want, they take it. Action speaks louder than words.

GIFT: Energy, Vitality, Assertiveness, Confidence, Leadership, Athleticism, Optimism, Joy, Hope, Inspiration.

CURSE: Aggression, Violence, Impatience, Arrogance, Selfishness, Egoism, Destructiveness, Promiscuity.

EARTH

EARTH TRIAD - Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn

EARTH PLANETS - Venus, Mercury, Saturn

EARTH HOUSES - House II, VI & X.

Ever heard of the expression "down-to-earth?" That describes earth, which is pragmatic by nature. They are practical, sensible people with a rational head. They think clearly in times of emergency and can be relied on to solve problems. Earthy people are managers and troubleshooters. They are indispensable to an organization. They work with structure and effectiveness. These are people born with their eyes open, as they are realistic about the world. They do not waste time dreaming or do useless things which will benefit nobody. They can work very hard to achieve their ambition. Gifted with managing skills, earthy folks plan things ahead and execute their plans with patience. Their planning skills are quite legendary. So are their ability to do business. The greatest businessmen in the world - Steve Jobs, Bill Gates, Warren Buffet - all have strong earth elements in their chart. You can't do business without a good deal of earth. Reputation and status in society is something very important to earthy people, and they will always want to leave an impact in society; to be acknowledged for their success and achievement. As such, they climb the ladder slowly and steadily. They plant the seeds, water the plant and reap the fruits. They don't believe in shortcuts. Their stamina is amazing, and they can endure setbacks in life - because they persist.

GIFT: Common Sense, Practicality, Realism, Responsibility, Reliability, Loyalty, Endurance, Productivity, Resourcefulness, Diligence.

CURSE: Materialism, Greed, Ruthlessness, Coldness, Manipulativeness, Boring, Rigid, Stubborn, Pessimism.

WATER

WATER TRIAD - Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces

WATER PLANETS - Moon, Neptune, Pluto.

WATER HOUSES - House IV, VIII & XII.

Still water runs deep, or so goes the saying. Water people are deep and emotional. They are incredibly passionate, ruled by instincts. They represent femininity,  the "Ying" energy which is nurturing and life-giving, like a mother. They are capable of deep, lasting relationships and unconditional love. Bonds forged in water can never be broken. Water people have an unparallelled capacity for love and intimacy. They love so deeply they are willing to die or sacrifice themselves for their closed ones. Perhaps because they have such strong feelings, they become introverted and guard their feelings closely. They put on masks so they don't get hurt. Emotional security and intimacy are the most precious things to a Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces. Uncontrolled passion can be their undoing. So channel the passion wisely, into the right direction. Water folks are gifted with fertile imagination, which makes them excellent artists, musicians, writers, actors and actresses. Since they are sensitive souls, they tend to have faith in God. Faith comes to them easily. Mahatma Gandhi, Mother Teresa and many religious leaders have strong water emphasis in their natal charts.

GIFT: Altruism, Love, Faith, Imagination, Creativity, Spirituality, Passion, Compassion, Instincts, Intimacy, Sincerity.

CURSE: Too Emotional, Fragile, Oversensitivity, Insecurity, Defensiveness, Gullibility, Low Self-Esteem, Dreaminess.

AIR

AIR TRIAD - Gemini, Libra, Aquarius.

AIR PLANETS - Mercury, Venus, Uranus.

AIR HOUSES - House III, VII & XI.

Air is a symbol of the mind. Intelligence is the hallmark of airy people. They live in their minds, in the world of ideas. Imagination is their strong point. They are gifted with articulate, sharp tongues and can express themselves well. Witty and humorous, they love to communicate and excel in delivering charming, persuasive speech. The world's best lawyers, politicians and public speakers have heavy air element in their chart. If you don't have air, you have no soft skills. You can't speak or write persuasively. In other words, you need air to communicate, to build bridges with others. The more air a person has, the more charming that person is. They can charm the birds off the tree. Too much air, however, can lead to impracticality and escapism in the form of wild fantasies. As a rule of thumb, airy people are not practical. They are satisfied by gaining knowledge, through reading, writing, chatting, socializing, etc. In other words, they are nurtured by "building castles in the air." If Mars is weak in their chart, they may not be able to put their thoughts into action, and so become unproductive. Therefore, a strong Mars is needed to ensure these airy folks take action. Many scientists, like Albert Einstein and Isaac Newton, have lots of air in their charts. Air tends towards a progressive, scientific outlook.

GIFT: Intelligence, Logic, Wit, Charm, Sociability, Humour, Ideas, Originality, Innovativity, Refinement, Culture.

CURSE: Impracticality, Superficiality, Fickleness, Vanity, Indecisiveness, Restlessness, Unproductivity, Laziness, Escapism.
